Hey guys,

i've got an important question about an sentence. And i would like to know if it's written correct. I spoke about it with my english teacher as well, but i think it's a difference if you take a look on it.

Out of the ashes
a phoenix will rise
spreads his wings of
into eternal light

after teachers correction:

Out of the ashes
a phoenix will rise
and spread his wings (of)
into eternal light

I'm pretty sure spread already is ok and i don't need to add an "of", but we'll see.

Would be great of you could help me!

You're correct with leaving the "of" out as it doesn't make sense with it in.

Wings of what?

i think this sentence will make more sense:
out of the ashes
a phoenix will rise
and spreads it's wings of
eternal light

Great that somebody knows the Sorrow Very Happy \m/
Yeah i got the lyrics from that song but i wanted a "male" phoenix
that also flys "into" the light.
The sentence just should be gramatically correct.
