So, because if this frankly retarded turn of events, (by the way, the PSU brand is Lite-On, if you wanted to know) I'm probably going ot have to buy the PSU you linked. Damnit. So, right now I have no money (birthdays and such I had to pay for) and I get 20 quid a month. 4 months till BF3. Thats 80 quid, and the card is 105. Not to mention the 40ish PSU and 30-40 for the game pre-order.... You see where this is going. As it is, I'm screwed when it comes to paying for all this.
You're all thinking 'Get a job then!' and, so am I.
Will inform you guys later if I get anywhere with this.

Haha, maybe if I could pay you somehow? Very Happy But for now, I'm emailing a good IT guy in my local town, hoping he'll have a space for me to work in some sort of part time summer hols job (I'll learn how to install hardware and such while earning the money to get the hardware- win.)
Besides, those would have to be some awesome 250 watts to run that 4870x2

Case is decent, not huge, but not small. Are you suggesting I get a second PSU and use both, using the second one to power the GPU?

I'd only do it if I couldn't find a single psu powerful enough, but it's an option if you have another low power psu kicking around?

Guys, I found a really cheap 500w PSU on amazon, (always good for me) but I want to check with you guys to see if will do the job or just break and fall apart.
