Tried that now, and it didn't work, got this error message when I rebooted my computer after the system restore -
C:\Windows\Minidump\010102-17877-01.dmp
C:\Users\Renargen\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-37689-0.sysdata.xml
' Things that help describe the problem '.
I also went into a blinding fit of rage when it system restored and hurled a biro at my monitor which has damaged it quite severly.

Wow, I missed a lot. I congratulate you on finding such a weird and confusing problem for the experts at TBK to try and solve... I seriously hope that I don't end up with a problem like this, considering I'm moving up eventually from a 5450 made by ASUS- and I've already got driver problems- and I've got an integrated 3200! I can't install anything past 10.12 driver wise, and yet everything before works. One reason I'm thinking about getting an NVidia card.
I'm amazed how similar our PCs are.
One more thing- you could ask Techy to help too. He helped me.

Yes Rust, I did try that (that's how I used to install drivers anyway, I never uninstalled them).

Well, I have literally no idea why, but 11.5 works, when none of the previous 11.X drivers did. However, this may be because I disabled the onboard HD3200 - I have never disabled it before installation before. Never needed to.

Good move; I've had similar problems in the past and have had to set the bios to check the pci-e lanes before defaulting to on-board vga.

Glad it's fixed for you. Very Happy

turn off the onboard graphics within the mobo's bios and make pci-e priority
